THE ARTS SOCIETY
STEYNING

Welcome to The Arts Society Steyning

The Arts Society Steyning meets monthly (except in August & December) for talks on a broad and diverse range of topics. Founded in 2005 as Steyning Decorative and Fine Arts Society, our members have been sharing a curiosity for the Arts for over 13 years.

Although based in the heart of Steyning our members and visitors come from surrounding towns and villages in both East & West Sussex.

Lectures

Our talks are given by experienced and highly qualified lecturers who are experts in their chosen fields of painting, architecture, sculpture, music, photography, furniture and ceramics.

Visits & Events

The Society also organises visits and events to art galleries, museums and places of historic and artistic interest in the UK & abroad.

Special Interest Days

Special Interest days are those in which a subject is studied in greater depth.

Young Arts

The Society supports and promotes Young Arts in Local Schools and colleges.

The Arts Society

Is a leading arts education charity with a global network of 385 local Societies, which bring people together through a shared curiosity for the arts.  Our events provide welcoming places – locally, nationally and globally – to hear expert lecturers share their specialist knowledge about the arts.  Our 90,000+ members contribute to and preserve our artistic heritage through volunteering and grants.

Our strength is our people, joined together by a passion for the arts which can nourish and empower us all. Our work creates a better, healthier and more connected society.

**We regret that the lecture scheduled for 20th April has been canceled due to the current Covid-19 situation.
